How Safe is Sixteen?
(Updated 7 March 2009)

Effective on February 10th, 2009, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) introduced stringent new safety standards for children's toys and games. To ensure the safety of our customers and to comply with this new law, Sixteen has been tested by a certified laboratory with stellar results.

  • Maximum lead content allowed by law: 600 ppm (parts per million)

  • Sixteen: Lead content in surface coatings: only 1 to 2 ppm

  • Sixteen: Lead content in substrates (paper stock): only 3 to 4 ppm
